UAE Handbook is an English handbook for people who want to work, live or move to the United Arab Emirates, whatever their nationality or income. It starts with Dubai and Abu Dhabi and covers the move from the decision to go until the day you leave, including what to do when something goes wrong.
Who is behind it
The author and publisher is Webraketen. Pages are written and checked by the Webraketen editorial team and signed with the team's name, not with an individual byline. We do not present invented people or experts. Trust in a page rests on what you can check yourself: the primary source and quote behind each claim, the date it was verified and the public log of changes.
Non-commercial
The handbook carries no advertising, no affiliate links and no paid placements. Nobody pays to be mentioned. Links to authorities and laws are there because they are the source.
What it is not
It is general information, not legal, tax or immigration advice. Rules differ between mainland, free zones such as DIFC and ADGM, and between emirates. For a decision about your own case, the authority that runs the service has the final word.
